CazeTV secures slice of Premier League rights in Brazil

Brazilian streaming platform CazeTV has added another major competition to its growing sports rights portfolio after securing access to English Premier League matches through a sublicensing agreement with ESPN Brasil.

Under the deal, CazeTV will broadcast one Premier League match per week free-to-air via its YouTube channel. The announcement was made during the platform’s coverage of the opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

ESPN Brasil currently holds the Premier League rights in Brazil through the end of the 2027-28 season following a three-year agreement announced in February 2025.

Several high-profile Brazilian players are currently competing in the English top flight, including Arsenal defender Gabriel, Brentford striker Igor Thiago, Tottenham forward Richarlison, Bournemouth youngster Rayan and Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

The acquisition marks another step in CazeTV’s rapid expansion across European football. In May, the platform secured Brazilian rights to Spain’s LaLiga from 2026-27 through 2031-32, becoming one of the league’s primary broadcasters in the country. CazeTV also carries matches from Serie A and the Bundesliga.

Founded in 2022 by content creator Casimiro Miguel, CazeTV first gained prominence through its coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The broadcaster now holds rights to all 104 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and has also secured exclusive coverage of all 64 matches at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.

Most recently, the platform expanded beyond football by signing a rights agreement with the International Olympic Committee to broadcast the Olympic Games through 2028.

CazeTV’s partnership with Disney continues to deepen as well. Earlier this week, Disney+ renewed its distribution agreement with the platform, ensuring that CazeTV content remains available within ESPN’s offering on the streaming service.
