adidas has unveiled TRIONDA FINAL, the official match ball for the semi-finals, third-place play-off and final of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, introducing a completely new design created specifically for the tournament’s closing stages.
Unlike previous FIFA World Cups, where adidas traditionally released a color update for the final rounds, TRIONDA FINAL features an entirely new visual identity while retaining the same performance technology introduced with the original TRIONDA Official Match Ball in October 2025.
Inspired by football’s ultimate prize, the ball combines premium gold details referencing the FIFA World Cup Trophy with a black base and vibrant pink and red accents, creating a distinctive look for the tournament’s biggest matches.
The design also pays tribute to the four cities hosting the final stage—Dallas, Atlanta, Miami and New York/New Jersey—while incorporating the remaining host cities into the ball’s triangular graphic elements.
From a technical standpoint, TRIONDA FINAL maintains the four-panel construction, textured surface and deep seam design of the original ball, delivering optimal aerodynamics and flight stability. It also features the latest version of adidas Connected Ball Technology, providing real-time ball data to support match officials’ decision-making while enhancing match analysis.
The TRIONDA FINAL Official Match Ball has been available since July 7 through adidas stores, selected retailers and the brand’s official online store.
