Adidas has further strengthened its position in the Premier League kit market for the 2026/27 season, supplying eight of the league’s 20 clubs, giving the German sportswear giant a 40% market share.
The figure puts Adidas comfortably ahead of Nike, whose logo will appear on the shirts of only Brighton & Hove Albion, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Adidas’ portfolio includes reigning Premier League champions Arsenal, as well as Liverpool and Manchester United, giving the brand three of England’s traditional “Big Six” clubs. Aston Villa also wears Adidas, meaning the company supplies four of last season’s top five finishers and 80% of the Premier League clubs competing in this season’s UEFA Champions League, with Manchester City the only exception.
The German manufacturer has now been the leading Premier League kit supplier in 10 of the last 12 seasons, while its eight-club portfolio represents the largest share held by a single manufacturer in the league over the past decade.
Hummel is the only other supplier with more than one Premier League club. The Danish brand expanded its presence from one team last season to three by adding Bournemouth and newly promoted Coventry City to existing partner Sunderland. Coventry has worn Hummel since 2019 and extended the partnership earlier this summer, allowing the collaboration to continue in the Premier League.
The remaining six manufacturers — Castore, Joma, Macron, OXEN Sports, Puma and Umbro — each supply one club.
In total, nine different sportswear brands are represented across the Premier League in 2026/27. That matches last season’s total, is two more than in 2024/25, and marks the league’s highest level of supplier diversity since the 2021/22 campaign.
