Pinterest becomes Brighton women’s team sponsor in four-year deal

Pinterest has signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion’s women’s football team, expanding the platform’s presence in women’s sport.

Under the partnership, Pinterest will become the first exclusive sponsor of Brighton’s Women’s Super League team, with its branding appearing on the back of the players’ match shirts.

The partnership will officially debut on Sunday, August 9, when Brighton face Paris Saint-Germain in a pre-season friendly.

Beyond traditional brand exposure, the agreement includes a range of fan-focused activations. Pinterest and Brighton will collaborate on matchday experiences, creator partnerships, community initiatives and content built around the stories of the club’s players.

A key element of the partnership will be bringing Pinterest inspiration into the matchday experience. Fans will be encouraged to use ideas from the platform for matchday outfits, banners and other elements of supporter culture.

Louise Foley, Pinterest’s European Consumer Marketing Director, said football fandom begins well before kick-off, from the clothes supporters wear to the banners they create and the traditions they build with friends.

The Brighton partnership forms part of Pinterest’s wider push into women’s sport. The platform has previously partnered with WNBA franchise New York Liberty, using women’s sports properties as a way to connect fan communities with creativity and consumer culture.

Through the four-year agreement, Pinterest aims to strengthen its visibility in English women’s football while creating new ways for fans to bring online inspiration into the stadium environment.
