Canva has entered the professional football sponsorship market for the first time, signing a partnership with Como 1907 as the club’s Official Creative Partner for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement will give Como supporters access to hundreds of officially licensed club templates through Canva, allowing them to customise designs, order printed products through Canva and have them delivered directly.
The partnership will also introduce a permanent Canva Print Shop at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, bringing the platform’s personalisation capabilities directly into Como’s matchday and hospitality experience.
According to Canva, the deal represents its first partnership with a football club anywhere in the world, adding another technology-focused brand to Como’s growing commercial portfolio.
Hundreds of Como templates for fans
The first supporter-facing elements of the partnership will launch on September 13, coinciding with Como’s first home match of the 2026/27 season.
Fans will be able to access hundreds of officially licensed Como templates on Canva and customise them using their own designs. Completed products can then be ordered through Canva’s printing infrastructure and delivered to customers.
The initiative gives Como an additional digital touchpoint with supporters around the world, particularly international fans who cannot regularly visit the club’s physical retail locations or attend matches at the Sinigaglia.
It also introduces a new layer of personalisation to licensed merchandise, allowing supporters to participate in the creative process while working within an official collection of club assets.
Canva Print Shop arrives at Sinigaglia
A physical element of the partnership will be established inside Como’s stadium.
The permanent Canva Print Shop will allow hospitality guests to create and personalise exclusive products before and during matches, bringing Canva’s creative tools into the live football environment.
The initiative gives the sponsorship a practical role in the matchday experience, with supporters able to use Canva technology and create personalised products on site.
From technology partnership to fan engagement
The structure of the deal goes beyond Canva acting as a traditional technology sponsor.
Instead, the platform becomes part of Como’s wider supporter proposition. Fans create the designs, Canva provides the creative and printing infrastructure, while Como supplies the club identity and officially licensed assets.
The partnership also targets two distinct audiences. International supporters can engage with Como through the digital platform, while hospitality guests can experience the concept physically at the stadium.
Valentino Magliaro, Country Launcher at Canva Italy, described the partnership as a major milestone for the company, highlighting that it is Canva’s first football club partnership globally.
Ryan Shelton, Chief Business Officer of Como 1907, said the partnership would give fans new ways to express their connection with the club while bringing creativity directly into the matchday experience at the Sinigaglia.
For Como, the agreement represents another step in building a technology-driven commercial and brand ecosystem, while Canva gains a new route into football fandom through personalised digital and physical experiences.
