Ligue 1 is expanding its international broadcast reach ahead of the 2026-27 season, with LFP Media announcing a series of new agreements across key global markets.
The French top flight is now available in 215 territories through 53 broadcasters and in 44 languages, further strengthening its international media footprint.
India and Indonesia are among the key new markets. In India, JioStar will broadcast at least four Ligue 1 matches per matchday on JioHotstar, with selected games also available on Star Sports channels. In Indonesia, the entire league will be available on Vidio, the streaming platform owned by Emtek Group.
The offering is also expanding in several existing markets. In the UK and Ireland, Sky will add Ligue 1 highlights alongside its coverage through Ligue 1+. In Spain, DAZN will broadcast every match of the season. In Brazil, XSports will join CazéTV, with three matches per matchday available for free.
The expanded network builds on Ligue 1’s existing international distribution agreements, including Canal+ International in French-speaking Africa, SuperSport in English-speaking Africa, beIN Sports across the Middle East and North Africa, and DAZN in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
According to LFP Media, Ligue 1’s international audience increased by 30% during the 2025-26 season.
The latest agreements underline the league’s strategy of strengthening its international media and commercial value, with markets across Asia playing an increasingly important role in Ligue 1’s global growth.
