Paris Saint-Germain has unveiled two American football-inspired jerseys as part of its “Football is Football” campaign, launched during NFL Week in France. The initiative runs until Sunday, October 25, when the New Orleans Saints will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Stade de France in the first NFL game to be held in France.
Designed by Fanatics, the two jerseys combine American football aesthetics with PSG’s visual identity. The designs feature oversized numbers, bold typography and structured silhouettes, bringing elements of the NFL into the Parisian club’s merchandise range.
The first model, named “Paris Red & Blue”, features PSG’s traditional colours. The second, called “Monogramme”, uses a burgundy-and-gold colour scheme.
Both jerseys feature the number 75, a reference to Paris’s departmental code, alongside a fleur-de-lys motif. The symbol connects PSG’s identity with that of the New Orleans Saints, reflecting the collaboration between the two football cultures.
The campaign also extends beyond apparel into music. French artists MYD and Antoine Bouchot have collaborated with New Orleans-based brass band The Soul Rebels to produce five rearranged tracks for the event, bringing together the musical influences of Paris and New Orleans.
Through the initiative, PSG is using the NFL’s arrival in France to connect football, American football, fashion and music, while expanding its merchandise offering through a cross-sport collaboration.
