The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is further broadening its international horizons. Starting today, Italy’s top-tier basketball league will be broadcast in France via the EuroLeague TV platform.
This new agreement marks a significant step in the LBA’s global expansion strategy. Under the deal, EuroLeague TV will stream three matches per round of the 2025/26 Unipol Serie A regular season, as well as comprehensive coverage of the 2026 Unipol LBA Playoffs.
A Growing Global Network
The partnership, finalized with the support of Official Advisor Infront, builds upon an existing distribution network. France now joins an extensive list of territories where EuroLeague TV already provides LBA coverage, including:
- Europe: Germany, UK, Switzerland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Austria, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Romania, and Hungary.
- Global: United Arab Emirates and Australia.
Strengthening International Presence
Beyond the EuroLeague TV agreement, the LBA continues to solidify its presence across multiple continents through various strategic distribution partners:
- The Balkans: TV Arena
- Baltic States: Setanta Sports
- Greece: COSMOTE TV
- Israel: Charlton
- Poland: Polsat
- Ukraine: MainCast
- Americas: Napoli Basketball TV (USA) and BasquetPass TV (South America).
This expansion underscores the growing appeal of Italian basketball on the world stage, ensuring that fans from New York to Paris can follow the excitement of the Serie A.
