Middlesbrough FC Gives Front-of-Shirt Sponsorship to Club Foundation in Charity Activation

Middlesbrough FC’s principal partner FDJ United has temporarily donated its front-of-shirt sponsorship to the Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation in a move aimed at raising awareness for the charity’s community initiatives.

For the club’s EFL Championship fixture against Bristol City, the Foundation’s branding replaced the usual Unibet logo on the men’s first-team shirt. The same activation also appeared during the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division match between Middlesbrough Women and Loughborough Lightning.

The campaign is designed to highlight the work carried out by the Foundation across Teesside, with particular focus on community health initiatives supported by FDJ United.

One of the key programmes backed through the partnership is the Foundation’s neurological football sessions, which provide opportunities for people living with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease to play football and engage socially.

FDJ United—the parent company of the 32Red brand—has partnered with Middlesbrough since 2018, making it one of the longest-running commercial relationships in English football.

Charlotte Dinsdale, Head of Foundation at Middlesbrough FC, said the gesture helps increase the visibility of the Foundation’s work across the region.

“Support like this genuinely makes a difference,” she said. “By raising the profile of the Foundation, we’re able to reach deeper into our communities and connect with people who might be going through challenging times and don’t yet know where to turn.”
