The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to unveil a major presenting partner for the field at their iconic Dodger Stadium, with Japanese apparel giant Uniqlo reportedly in line to take the role.
Sources indicate the field will be known as Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium, though the stadium itself will retain its historic 1962 name. The Dodgers’ reluctance to sell full stadium naming rights preserves the venue’s legacy while still unlocking high-value branding opportunities.
International commercial agency Sportfive led the search for a partner, and Uniqlo’s reported involvement highlights the Dodgers’ growing appeal to Japanese brands, fueled by the team’s back-to-back World Series titles powered by stars like Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and rising talent Roki Sasaki. Japanese companies previously partnering with the Dodgers include Daiso, Nippon Airways, Toyo Tires, Kose Corporation, Toei Animation, and Kowa Company.
Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Rays have secured a multi-year partnership with Dream Finders Homes (DFH), granting the property firm naming rights to the left terrace of Tropicana Field. DFH will also gain media assets and opportunities for in-person activations at Rays games, and the agreement extends to the Rays-owned Tampa Bay Rowdies of the USL.
Patrick Zalupski, DFH founder and CEO, acquired the Rays and Rowdies in 2025 as part of a consortium. He is leveraging his company’s sports partnerships across Florida, including relationships with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the University of Florida, the PGA Tour, and Minor League Baseball.
The Dodgers open their 2026 MLB campaign on March 26 against the Arizona Diamondbacks, while the Rays start on March 26 at the St. Louis Cardinals, hosting their first home game on April 6 versus the Chicago Cubs.
