Deltatre Expands ATP Tour Deal with Automated Graphics and Drone AR Integration

The ATP Tour is doubling down on broadcast innovation, expanding its long-term partnership with Deltatre to enhance graphics, data integration, and production across the 2026 season.

The upgraded deal, officially announced this week, was already rolled out at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, where Deltatre introduced automated, data-driven broadcast graphics across all outside courts, alongside a new visual package and Drone AR (augmented reality) features.

Deltatre’s system uses real-time data feeds to automatically display player bios, head-to-head stats, and match insights, synchronizing graphics with live on-court action. Notably, the operation is managed remotely from London, highlighting a growing shift toward centralized, tech-driven production workflows in global sports broadcasting.

“Nobody else in tennis—and very few in sport—are doing what Deltatre is doing with automation,” said Phil Tabor, ATP Media’s director of live production. “This allows us to bring consistency, innovation, and new commercial opportunities across more courts.”

The partnership builds on a relationship that began in 2017 and spans key events including the ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000, and Next Gen ATP Finals. Beyond graphics, Deltatre also provides broadcast data feeds, workflow solutions, and highlight production tools integrated into ATP Media’s ecosystem.

The move comes amid a broader digital transformation for the ATP Tour. Recent collaborations with Sony are introducing AI-driven storytelling and Hawk-Eye-based innovations like HawkVISION, while partnerships with Overtime and TikTok aim to capture younger audiences through short-form and social content.

As tennis looks to modernize its global product, the ATP’s expanded deal with Deltatre signals a clear focus: automation, immersive viewing, and scalable production for a rapidly evolving media landscape.
