Global sports streaming giant DAZN has announced a strategic alliance with Polymarket, the world’s leading prediction market platform. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between live broadcasting and real-time market insights, allowing fans to engage with sports content through data-driven forecasting.
The integration will initially roll out in the United States, pending approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), before expanding to international markets.
Key Features of the Partnership:
- Live Data Integration: Polymarket’s real-time odds will be embedded into DAZN’s live broadcasts, helping viewers visualize how probabilities shift during crucial moments of a match.
- Enhanced Fan Engagement: Users will eventually be able to participate in prediction markets—buying and selling contracts on event outcomes—directly within the DAZN ecosystem.
- Broader Reach: The deal covers a wide range of sports, from elite boxing to the UEFA Champions League.
DAZN CEO Shay Segev highlighted that the move is part of the platform’s evolution into an “immersive and exciting” sports destination. This follows a similar trend in the industry, as Polymarket recently signed a massive deal with TKO for UFC and Zuffa Boxing.
