Accenture Becomes Official Business and Technology Consulting Partner of The R&A

The R&A (Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews) has announced a six-year partnership with Accenture, naming the global consulting firm as the Official Business and Technology Consulting Partner and Official Patron of some of golf’s most iconic championships, including The Open Championship, AIG Women’s Open, and ISPS HANDA Senior Open, through 2031.

As part of the collaboration, Accenture will leverage its expertise in digital, cloud, data, and artificial intelligence to support the R&A in enhancing governance, championship operations, and the overall growth of the sport.

The partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of technology in golf, improving analytics, operations, and fan and player experiences, with the broader goal of making golf more accessible to people worldwide.
