Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have officially booked their places in the 2026 UEFA Champions League final, with both clubs now approaching €150 million in total UEFA prize earnings from this season’s competition.
PSG secured their second consecutive Champions League final after earning a 1-1 draw away to Bayern Munich, advancing thanks to a 5-4 aggregate victory. Arsenal, meanwhile, defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 to eliminate the Spanish side and seal their place in the final.
The two European giants will now meet on May 30 in Budapest, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 local time.
Beyond the sporting prestige, the final also represents a major financial milestone. Arsenal had already generated €124.7 million in UEFA revenues before reaching the final, while PSG stood at €121.8 million. The figures reflect UEFA’s revamped competition format, which has significantly increased commercial and performance-based distributions.
Qualification for the final guarantees each club an additional €18.5 million in prize money. The Champions League winner will then receive a further €6.5 million bonus.
- Qualification for the final: €18.5 million
- Winning the final: €6.5 million
Including final-related earnings and potential bonuses, the road to the Champions League title can generate more than €30 million in additional revenue for the finalists.
Should they lift the trophy in Budapest, total UEFA earnings for the season would rise to:
- Arsenal — €149.7 million
- Paris Saint-Germain — €146.8 million
At present, Arsenal’s confirmed earnings stand at €143.2 million, while PSG have reached €140.3 million.
Both finalists have also automatically qualified for the UEFA Super Cup, securing another €4 million each. The winner of that match will receive an additional €1 million bonus, although those revenues will be recorded in the clubs’ 2026/27 financial accounts.
