Arsenal Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot to depart after driving record commercial Growth

Arsenal have announced that Chief Commercial Officer Juliet Slot will leave the club after nearly five years, ending a tenure that helped transform the Gunners into one of European football’s strongest commercial performers.

Slot, who joined Arsenal in December 2021, played a central role in securing record-breaking commercial revenues that strengthened the club’s financial position and increased its ability to invest in the first-team squad. Her tenure culminated with Arsenal winning the 2025/26 Premier League title, after which both the club and Slot agreed it was the right time to part ways.

Record commercial revenues

During Slot’s time at Arsenal, the club’s commercial income increased from £218.3 million to £263.2 million, according to its latest financial results.

The commercial growth contributed to Arsenal posting a club-record total revenue of £691 million for the financial year ending May 2025, providing greater financial flexibility under football’s profitability and sustainability regulations.

The increased commercial strength enabled Arsenal to continue investing heavily in its squad while maintaining compliance with financial rules.

Led key global partnerships

Slot was instrumental in overseeing Arsenal’s most significant commercial partnerships, including agreements with Emirates, Adidas, Sobha, and Visit Rwanda.

Speaking about her role in 2025, Slot said she remained closely involved in the club’s largest sponsorship negotiations while also helping shape Arsenal’s global brand strategy and commercial direction.

Before joining Arsenal, she served as the first Commercial Director of Ascot Racecourse and previously held commercial leadership roles at Fulham FC, Adidas, and Great British Racing. She has also served as a non-executive director on the British Olympic Association board.

Latest executive departure

Slot’s exit is the latest in a series of senior staff changes at Arsenal this summer.

The club has already seen the departures of club doctor Zafar Iqbal, Head of Sports Science and Performance Tom Allen, and Lead Performance Coach Sam Wilson, as Arsenal continues to reshape several departments behind the scenes.

Her departure marks the end of a commercially successful period that helped restore Arsenal’s position among Europe’s leading football brands while providing the financial foundation for the club’s recent on-field success.
