Atlético Madrid launches Casa Atleti Seoul following Lee Kang-in signing

Atlético Madrid has launched Casa Atleti Seoul, a four-day fan activation in South Korea just days after signing South Korean star Lee Kang-in from Paris Saint-Germain.

The timing is significant. Lee Kang-in’s arrival gives Atlético Madrid one of Asia’s most recognisable footballers, while Casa Atleti Seoul provides the club with a platform to engage directly with fans in one of its most strategically important international markets.

Running from 6 to 9 August, the activation brings together football, fashion, gaming, entertainment and Korean culture in a temporary fan hub.

Casa Atleti extends beyond football

The Seoul activation will feature:

  • An official Atlético Madrid retail store
  • A club museum showcasing historic memorabilia
  • Exclusive experiences for Red & White international members
  • Meet-and-greet sessions with players and club legends
  • An EA SPORTS FC 26 gaming zone
  • A fashion collaboration with Korean brand Over The Pitch
  • Live DJs and supporter events
  • An Atlético Madrid vs Manchester City watch party
  • Korean food experiences through a dedicated Chimaek Station
  • Live artwork by Korean artist Choi Sung Wook

The programme reflects the increasingly broad role of international fan activations, combining football with fashion, gaming and local culture.

Atlético also promotes its international membership programme

Alongside merchandise and entertainment, Atlético Madrid will use the event to promote its Red & White international membership programme.

Visitors will be encouraged to register for the programme, which offers access to priority experiences, exclusive events, player appearances and member-only activities.

Following the Lee Kang-in signing, Atlético Madrid is using Casa Atleti Seoul to turn a major sporting acquisition into a broader international fan engagement and commercial activation strategy.
