beIN has renewed its media rights agreement for the NFL in France and expanded its weekly coverage with an additional live game featuring French-language commentary.
The agreement comes ahead of the league’s first-ever regular-season game in France.
beIN has held the NFL’s media rights in the country since 2012. Under the expanded deal, the broadcaster will continue to show Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, as well as the weekly RedZone multiview package and a featured Sunday night game with French-language commentary.
The new agreement adds a second live Sunday game to the schedule, broadcast in the 7 p.m. local time slot.
NFL’s first game in France to air on beIN
The expanded rights package will include the NFL’s first regular-season game in France. The New Orleans Saints will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at Paris’ 80,000-capacity Stade de France on October 25.
The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. local time. beIN will also retain the rights to the full NFL postseason and the Super Bowl, which will be played on February 14, 2027.
Throughout the season, the broadcaster will also produce exclusive social media and digital content, alongside its live coverage, the weekly NFL Extra magazine show and NFL-focused recap and news videos for YouTube.
Saints set to play a central role in France
The NFL season will begin on September 9, when reigning Super Bowl champions the Seattle Seahawks face last season’s runners-up, the New England Patriots.
The New Orleans Saints hold the NFL’s exclusive marketing rights for France and Monaco. The franchise sent a player-led delegation to France for promotional activities in 2025 and is expected to play a central role in the league’s marketing and media activity in the market.
Stade de France, which will host France’s first regular-season NFL game, is the country’s largest stadium and regularly hosts major football and rugby fixtures involving France’s national teams. The venue was also a centerpiece of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
