Boca Juniors signs Mastercard as Official Sponsor

Mastercard has announced a new partnership with Club Atlético Boca Juniors, becoming the club’s Official Sponsor in a move that strengthens the company’s global strategy of connecting people with “priceless” experiences through their passions.

Germán Rosón, President of Mastercard’s Southern Latin America division, said the agreement reflects the brand’s vision to deliver unique fan experiences and deepen engagement during key matchday moments.

From the club’s side, General Secretary Ricardo Angel Rosica emphasized that the partnership with a global brand like Mastercard will help strengthen ties with members and supporters, enhancing the emotional connection that defines Boca.

As part of the deal, Mastercard will roll out a comprehensive activation plan centered on fans, including exclusive experiences and the expansion of its “Priceless” platform in Argentina. Carlos Quintero, EVP of Marketing and Communications for Latin America and the Caribbean, highlighted Boca’s cultural significance as a key factor in the partnership.

The stadium experience is also set to evolve, with the introduction of contactless payment solutions aimed at making transactions faster, simpler, and more secure. Mastercard cardholders will gain access to exclusive benefits designed to elevate the matchday experience.

The agreement underscores Mastercard’s broader ambition to go beyond payments by combining technology, innovation, and strategic partnerships to engage consumers in meaningful moments.
