Borussia Dortmund signs regional partnership with ROBINSON in South Korea

Borussia Dortmund has announced a new regional partnership with ROBINSON, naming the travel company as its Official Regional Partner in South Korea.

The agreement is aimed at strengthening Dortmund’s commercial footprint in one of its most established international markets, reflecting the club’s strategy of building localized partnerships rather than relying solely on global sponsorship deals.

South Korea represents a key market for Dortmund, supported by a legacy of Korean players such as Lee Young-pyo, Park Joo-ho, and Ji Dong-won. This historical connection provides a strong foundation for targeted campaigns tailored to local audiences.

The partnership is expected to focus on digital engagement, localized content, and fan activation initiatives, potentially involving former players to deepen ties with Korean supporters.

ROBINSON, which operates in the premium holiday segment, brings expertise in travel and hospitality, with destinations aligned to Asian tourism trends, including Vietnam—a growing destination for Korean travelers.

The deal will also support the BVB International Academy led by Park Joo-ho, linking the collaboration to youth development and grassroots football. This adds a structural dimension to the partnership, combining commercial objectives with long-term engagement in the local football ecosystem.

Borussia Dortmund emphasized that the collaboration is built around shared values of hospitality, passion, and fan experience, aiming to create stronger emotional connections between the club and its South Korean audience.
