Bundesliga follows LaLiga’s lead and signs Polymarket as prediction partner in the U.S.

The German league has expanded its commercial footprint in the United States by striking a multi-year agreement with Polymarket, becoming its official prediction partner in the U.S. market starting from the 2026–27 season, which kicks off in August.

The deal is managed through Relevent Sports and represents the Bundesliga’s first regional sponsorship agreement in the United States. It also mirrors a growing trend in European football, following similar moves by LaLiga and Serie A.

The partnership includes digital and social media activations focused on match predictions and market-based content. It also grants Polymarket exclusive rights to use the collective intellectual property of Bundesliga clubs and the league for promotional purposes.

Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Polymarket, which operates in the U.S. as a regulated designated contract market under the CFTC, continues to expand its presence in sports. The company already holds partnerships across major U.S. leagues and properties including the MLB, NHL, UFC, and MLS.

Meanwhile, data distribution rights for the Bundesliga remain exclusively with Sportradar.

Bundesliga Americas executive vice president Robin Austermann described the deal as part of a long-term strategy with Relevent to grow German football in the region. Polymarket’s head of sports business development, Ari Borod, said the official partnership gives the platform added credibility and strengthens its ability to serve sports audiences.
