EuroLeague has delivered its most successful regular season on record in 2025–26, posting major increases in television audiences, arena attendance, and digital engagement across global markets.
According to league data, global TV viewership during the first 25 rounds of the regular season reached 122.8 million viewers across live and delayed broadcasts — an 82% increase compared to the same period last season.
Some of the strongest growth came from key basketball regions. The Balkans led the surge with a 103% rise in live audiences, while Italy and Israel followed with increases of 77% and 76%, respectively. France recorded a 23% increase, while Turkey and Spain contributed gains of 16% and 10%. Germany maintained stable audience figures despite having one fewer participating club.
Including live games, delayed broadcasts, and highlights programming, total competition consumption climbed to 508.17 million viewers, representing an 8% year-on-year increase.
Attendance figures also hit historic levels. A total of 3.25 million fans attended regular season games across the competition, up by 232,652 spectators from the previous campaign — an 8% growth overall.
Digital performance continued to accelerate across league-owned platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Total video views surpassed 1.49 billion during the regular season, while impressions exceeded 3 billion.
The league highlighted the long-term growth of its digital ecosystem since the 2021–22 season. Total reach has increased by 215%, adding 748.3 million users, while impressions jumped by 478%. Video views recorded the sharpest rise, soaring by 1,067% with an additional 1.4 billion views. Engagement also climbed by 319%, generating 57.6 million more interactions.
The 2025–26 season also marked a new era for the competition with the expansion to 20 teams. New entrants included Hapoel Tel Aviv, Valencia Basket, and debutants Dubai BC.
The EuroLeague regular season concluded in April, with the playoffs currently underway. The season-ending EuroLeague Final Four 2026 will take place in Athens between May 22 and 24.
