FIFA Partners with Stats Perform for Betting Data

FIFA has reached a landmark agreement with Stats Perform, naming the company its first-ever official distributor of betting data and streaming rights.

The partnership centralizes FIFA’s commercial assets for the betting ecosystem, allowing for direct monetization and standardized information for licensed operators. The deal covers the 2026–2029 cycle, including major tournaments and thousands of matches streamed on FIFA+.

Key Details of the Agreement:

  • Exclusive Rights: Stats Perform holds exclusive rights to collect and distribute official data and live streams for betting operators.
  • Major Events: The package includes all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
  • Expanded Coverage: The deal also covers Futsal World Cups, U-20 competitions, and the Intercontinental Cup.
  • Live Integration: Betting platforms will be able to offer live match streaming directly within their interfaces to improve user retention.

Integrity and Monetization

By selecting a single partner, FIFA aims to create a “control funnel” that increases the value of its data while strengthening integrity measures. Using official, high-speed data helps combat match-fixing and allows for the faster detection of suspicious betting patterns.

Romy Gai, FIFA’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated that the partnership will benefit both the sport and its fans by offering official, high-quality products. Stats Perform CEO Carl Mergele added that the move aligns with their vision to help fans connect more deeply with football worldwide.
