FIFA Renews Visa Partnership Through 2030 World Cup

FIFA and Visa have extended one of the most significant and long-standing commercial partnerships in global sports, with the digital payments company remaining a key sponsor of FIFA’s major competitions through the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

The renewed agreement extends a relationship that began at the 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup in China, taking the partnership beyond 20 years of collaboration. Financial details of the new deal were not disclosed.

The agreement covers FIFA’s biggest tournaments, including the 2030 FIFA World Cup, the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, youth competitions and the FIFAe Finals.

As part of the partnership, Visa will continue developing digital payment experiences and fan-focused services at FIFA events. The company previously introduced several payment and technology initiatives during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, focusing on improving the stadium and tournament experience for supporters.

Both organizations highlighted the commercial impact of FIFA competitions and the importance of continued innovation in enhancing fan engagement.

The renewal strengthens Visa’s position as one of FIFA’s most strategic global partners and reinforces one of the longest-running sponsorship relationships in the organization’s commercial portfolio ahead of the next World Cup cycle.

With the partnership now extending to 2030, Visa remains closely connected to FIFA’s global football ecosystem, covering both men’s and women’s competitions as the sport continues its expansion across markets worldwide.
