Google becomes Paris Saint-Germain’s premium partner in AI and mobile technology

Paris Saint-Germain has signed a new premium partnership with Google, with the agreement set to run through 2029.

Almost exactly one year after partnering with Paris FC through its Google Pixel smartphone brand, the U.S. technology giant has expanded its presence in French football by joining forces with the reigning UEFA Champions League and Ligue 1 champions.

As part of the deal, Google Gemini has been named the club’s official AI assistant, while Google Pixel becomes PSG’s official smartphone.

The partnership will see Google’s AI technology support the club’s internal teams in creating more creative and interactive content, while Pixel devices will be used to capture and share key moments from matches and behind the scenes.

“This partnership with Google perfectly reflects our ambition to work with the world’s most innovative companies,” said Richard Heaselgrave, Chief Revenue Officer at Paris Saint-Germain. “By combining Google’s technological expertise with the global strength of the Paris Saint-Germain brand, we will explore new ways to create, innovate and express our Parisian identity through content distributed around the world.”

Jean-Philippe Becane, Marketing Director of Google France, described the agreement as a strategic collaboration that will leverage Google’s technologies—particularly Gemini and Pixel—to help football fans connect with their team in new ways, wherever they are.

The partnership also includes the creation of an exclusive Google space at Parc des Princes, where partners, content creators and invited guests will be able to experience the company’s latest innovations, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence.

Beyond fan engagement, Google will work with several of PSG’s internal departments to integrate its technologies into the club’s broader digital ecosystem, highlighting a growing trend in sports partnerships where technology companies are moving beyond traditional branding to become operational and innovation partners.
