Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitiké has entered the world of high fashion after signing a major partnership with French luxury house Balenciaga, becoming a key face of its latest global campaign.
The French international stars in the brand’s new “On Repeat” campaign, which promotes the updated Triple S.2 sneaker, alongside pop singer Katy Perry and Chinese actor Yao Chen.
Ekitiké appears wearing the “Grey/Green” colourway of the model, which is now available through Balenciaga’s website and select retail partners.
The collaboration marks a first for the luxury brand, which has previously drawn on football culture in its designs but has never officially partnered with a professional player for a campaign.
Ekitiké’s move into fashion follows his recent attendance at a Balenciaga runway show in Paris, where he was seated in the front row—signalling an increasingly visible crossover between elite football and luxury fashion branding.
