Justin Rose becomes first ambassador and investor in McLaren Golf

McLaren has officially launched its new golf venture, McLaren Golf, with professional golfer Justin Rose named as both its first global ambassador and investor.

The English star, currently ranked world number five, will begin using McLaren Golf equipment this week at the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship. He will also feature the brand’s logo on his apparel and carry a signature papaya-colored McLaren golf bag during tournaments.

Rose said the collaboration has been a long-term project, with his involvement in testing prototypes and providing feedback on club design over recent years. He emphasized McLaren’s engineering standards as a key reason for joining the venture.

McLaren Golf, which is set for official launch on April 29, is led by former Callaway Europe executive Neil Howie. The brand’s debut comes alongside the Miami Grand Prix weekend, highlighting McLaren’s strategy of connecting its motorsport identity with lifestyle and sports ventures.

The move marks McLaren’s expansion beyond automotive and Formula 1 into the growing sports lifestyle and equipment market.
