The French Professional Football League (LFP) has renewed its commercial partnership with Point P, extending the agreement for three seasons through to the end of the 2028-29 campaign.
Point P, a building materials distributor owned by Saint-Gobain, has been an official partner of both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 since 2021. The financial terms of the renewed agreement have not been disclosed.
The partnership builds on Point P’s longstanding ties with French professional football. The company was previously associated with the Coupe de la Ligue from 1999 to 2016 before becoming a partner of the country’s top two divisions.
Under the new agreement, Point P will continue to receive visibility through LED advertising boards at stadiums and across the LFP’s digital platforms, including various content initiatives. The deal also includes hospitality opportunities, allowing the brand to host clients at matches.
Olivier Bramly, managing director of LFP Media, said the renewal reflected the trust built between the two parties and their shared values. He highlighted the connection that Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Point P have with communities across France, describing their regional presence as a key strength of the partnership.
The announcement comes as the LFP prepares for a new tender process for Ligue 1 broadcast rights, with its commercial arm working ahead of the next phase of negotiations over the league’s media agreements.
