Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Kickbase, establishing the global platform as the new official home for MLS fantasy sports. The partnership kicks off with the 2026 season on February 21, marking Kickbase’s first major expansion into the North American professional soccer market.
The new mobile-based platform will offer fans an interactive experience featuring authentic player data, real-time scoring based on 100 different in-game actions, and unique weekly challenges. The timing of the launch is strategic, aiming to capitalize on the surging interest in soccer across North America ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
According to Keith Agabob, MLS VP and Head of Digital Products, the collaboration is designed to provide “deep performance data and innovative competitive formats” to engage fans on a daily basis. Kickbase, which already has a strong 13-year track record with the German Bundesliga and DFB, will offer both free-to-play options and premium “Pro” subscriptions featuring advanced statistics and live matchday tracking.
