NBA Names C4 Energy as Official Energy Drink Partner in Europe

The National Basketball Association has expanded its commercial footprint in Europe by naming C4 Energy as its official energy drink partner across key markets.

The multiyear agreement will cover the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Italy, with a strong focus on fan engagement and experiential marketing.

A Fan-First Activation Strategy

As part of the partnership, C4 Energy will develop NBA-branded content and deliver a range of fan experiences, including meet-and-greets with NBA legends, exclusive on-court access during NBA Global Games in Europe, and premium hospitality offerings.

The deal reflects the NBA’s continued push to deepen its connection with European audiences through localized activations and lifestyle-driven partnerships.

Performance Meets Culture

Nutrabolt, which owns the C4 brand, sees the collaboration as a natural alignment with the NBA’s global positioning around performance and culture.

Paul Coppin, Vice President of Marketing for Nutrabolt EMEA, described the league as a “global benchmark for elite performance, innovation, and cultural influence,” emphasizing that the partnership will aim to create memorable moments both on and off the court.
