PSG set for new €100 million-per-year Nike deal

Paris Saint-Germain is on the verge of significantly strengthening its long-standing partnership with Nike, with the two sides reportedly agreeing to a new five-year extension.

According to French outlet L’Équipe, the agreement will extend the current deal from 2032 to 2037, ensuring that Nike remains PSG’s technical partner for nearly five decades after the relationship first began in 1989.

Annual value rises to €100 million

Under the existing agreement, PSG reportedly receives around €60 million per season from Nike. The new contract is expected to increase that figure to approximately €100 million annually, placing the French champions among the clubs with the most lucrative technical sponsorship deals in world football.

The extension follows Barcelona’s landmark Nike renewal signed in 2024, which reportedly runs through 2038 and is valued at around €1.7 billion.

Jordan partnership to continue

The renewed agreement is also expected to preserve PSG’s exclusive relationship with Jordan Brand, making the Parisian club the only football team officially associated with Nike’s iconic basketball label.

The collaboration has become a cornerstone of PSG’s global branding strategy, with Jumpman-branded kits and lifestyle collections helping the club expand its appeal beyond traditional football audiences, particularly in the United States.

Champions League success strengthens negotiating position

Negotiations reportedly accelerated after PSG captured the UEFA Champions League title for the first time in club history during the 2024/25 season.

The European triumph, combined with a resurgence in merchandise sales following the departures of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, strengthened the club’s commercial position and provided additional leverage in discussions with Nike.

If finalized, the new deal—worth around €100 million per season through 2037—will become one of the key commercial pillars of PSG’s long-term global growth strategy, reinforcing the club’s status among football’s elite both on and off the pitch.
