Ranking Serie A shirt sponsors led by Inter Milan and AC Milan

Italian football remains one of the most commercially powerful leagues in Europe, particularly when it comes to shirt sponsorship deals. A new ranking of Serie A clubs highlights both the financial dominance of the league’s biggest brands and the widening gap between elite clubs and the rest of the competition.

At the top of the table are Inter Milan and AC Milan, each generating around €30 million per year from their main shirt sponsorship agreements. Both clubs benefit from global brand recognition, historic success, and large international fan bases, which allow them to secure premium commercial partnerships with multinational companies.

Slightly behind them is Juventus, which continues to operate near the very top of the commercial landscape with deals valued around €28–30 million annually. Despite recent sporting fluctuations, Juventus still maintains one of the strongest commercial profiles in European football.

Further down the list, ACF Fiorentina stands out as one of the strongest mid-to-upper tier earners, with a deal worth around €25 million per year. Meanwhile, SS Lazio also remains competitive commercially, with sponsorship revenue estimated at around €9 million annually.

The mid-table section of the ranking includes clubs such as US Sassuolo, AS Roma, and SSC Napoli. These clubs operate in a more diverse commercial range, with sponsorship deals varying significantly depending on brand category, regional partnerships, and international exposure.

Below them, a group of clubs including Atalanta BC, Cagliari Calcio, Bologna FC 1909, and Torino FC reflect more modest commercial power. While their deals are significantly smaller, shirt sponsorship remains a crucial revenue stream that supports financial stability and squad development.

At the lower end of the ranking are clubs such as Parma Calcio 1913, Udinese Calcio, Genoa CFC, Como 1907, US Lecce, Hellas Verona, US Cremonese, and Pisa SC. For these teams, sponsorship deals are smaller in scale but still essential for balancing budgets and remaining competitive in Serie A.

One of the clearest trends in the report is the increasing influence of technology, fintech, and online betting companies in shirt sponsorship portfolios. These sectors are steadily replacing traditional sponsors such as automotive manufacturers and banks, reflecting a broader shift in global sports marketing.

Overall, the ranking reinforces the financial hierarchy within Serie A: a small group of globally recognized giants dominate commercial revenues, while the majority of clubs rely on more regional or sector-specific partnerships to sustain their operations.
