Real Madrid sign global solar partnership with Elite Solar

Real Madrid have expanded their commercial portfolio by signing a global partnership with Singapore-based photovoltaic manufacturer Elite Solar, which becomes both an Official Partner and the club’s Official Solar Panel Provider.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Under the partnership, Real Madrid and Elite Solar will work together to promote solar energy and environmental sustainability through joint campaigns targeting the club’s global fan base, customers and local communities.

The sponsorship comes as Real Madrid continues to strengthen its commercial position. Earlier on Wednesday, the club announced it had become the first sports organization to generate more than €1.2 billion in annual revenue, with sponsorship and marketing income playing a major role in its record-breaking financial results.

Real Madrid Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño said the club seeks partners that share its long-term vision and values.

“At Real Madrid, we seek partners who share our values and our vision for the future. We are pleased to welcome Elite Solar to our global network of partners.”

Elite Solar General Manager Alex Chen described the agreement as more than a traditional sponsorship.

“We are honoured to partner with Real Madrid, one of the most respected and successful organisations in the world. This partnership represents far more than a sponsorship; it reflects our shared pursuit of excellence, global impact and long-term value creation.”

According to the club, the collaboration will focus on promoting innovation, responsible growth and clean energy through a series of global initiatives, although specific activation plans have not yet been announced.

On the sporting side, Real Madrid will begin its 2026-27 La Liga campaign on August 22 with an away match against Espanyol, as the club looks to return to title-winning form after a trophyless campaign.
