The 2025/26 Serie A season recorded a slight decline in stadium attendance, but maintained a historic consistency. The league averaged 30,082 spectators per match, marking the third consecutive season above the 30,000 threshold.
A total of 11.43 million fans attended matches throughout the season, down 2.15% from 11.68 million in 2024/25.
The stadium occupancy rate also decreased, falling from 87.2% last season to 83.85% this year. Despite this, attendance levels remain among the strongest of the post-2000 era.
This marks the first time since the late 1990s that Serie A has recorded three consecutive seasons above 30,000 average attendance. The all-time peak remains the 1991/92 season with around 33,700 spectators per match.
In the historical ranking since 1991, the 2025/26 season sits 7th overall for average attendance.
