TickPick has acquired Momento in an all-cash deal aimed at expanding beyond ticket sales into fan engagement and experience tracking.
Momento, launched in 2023, allows users to digitally archive live sports and music events by saving tickets as “moments,†building personal attendance histories across venues and teams. The app has already recorded more than 20 million tickets.
TickPick plans to keep Momento as a standalone platform while integrating new features that connect attendance data with commerce, including potential pre-sales, discounts, and targeted offers based on verified event history.
The companies also see opportunities to deepen fan engagement by linking ticket purchases directly to automatic “moment†creation and building features such as achievements for attending all venues in a league or sport.
Momento co-founder John Brennan will remain CEO, while TickPick co-CEO Brett Goldberg described the long-term vision as building a fan-first ecosystem that blends transactions with personal sports history.
The deal reflects a broader trend in sports business toward combining ticketing infrastructure with data-driven fan engagement platforms, as companies look to turn live event attendance into long-term digital ecosystems.
