UEFA launches official TikTok channel to expand digital reach

UEFA has officially launched its own TikTok channel, marking another step in the organization’s digital expansion strategy and offering football fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access to European football beyond the action on the pitch.

The new @uefa account is designed to connect with TikTok’s global community of more than one billion users through short-form, engaging content that showcases the people, initiatives and moments shaping European football.

Rather than focusing solely on match highlights, the channel will provide fans with behind-the-scenes access to UEFA’s day-to-day operations, highlighting the governing body’s role in organizing elite competitions while promoting football development, innovation and sustainability through creative storytelling.

The launch of the official UEFA account complements the organization’s existing competition-specific TikTok channels, which have already attracted millions of followers across the platform through dedicated coverage of tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA European Championship.

By establishing a centralized corporate presence on TikTok, UEFA aims to strengthen its engagement with younger audiences and further expand its digital ecosystem across one of the world’s fastest-growing social media platforms.
