According to Google Trends, Argentina was the most searched national team in Türkiye over the past week, followed by Morocco, France, Paraguay and Cape Verde.

Among players, Leandro Trossard topped the list of the most searched footballers, ahead of Sidny Lopes Cabral, Kylian Mbappé, Vozinha and Richarlison.

Regarding the tournament’s host cities, New York generated the highest search volume in Türkiye, followed by Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami and Houston.

The latest Google Trends data underlines how the FIFA World Cup continues to generate massive global engagement, with fan interest extending well beyond the action on the field and into the digital landscape.
