FIFA has confirmed that the 2026 Men’s World Cup final on July 19 will include the tournament’s first-ever Super Bowl-style halftime show.
Global superstars Shakira, Madonna, and BTS will headline the performance, marking a major shift in how football’s biggest match is presented.
The show, staged at MetLife Stadium, is being curated by Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin in collaboration with Global Citizen. It is expected to extend the traditional 15-minute halftime break, bringing a full-scale entertainment production into the final.
Shakira is widely expected to revisit her iconic “Waka Waka,” while Madonna and BTS add cross-generational and global star power to the lineup.
