Championship club Wrexham AFC has named Mozilla Firefox as its new principal shirt sponsor for the 2026-27 season as the Welsh side continues its push for promotion to the Premier League.
Under the agreement, the Firefox logo will appear on the front of the men’s and women’s first-team jerseys, replacing United Airlines, which had supported the club during its recent rise through the English football pyramid.
Beyond shirt sponsorship, Wrexham and Firefox will collaborate on a range of fan-focused initiatives throughout the season, including original content, product integrations and supporter activations.
Co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney said the partnership reflects the shared identity of both brands, noting that “Wrexham and Firefox know what it’s like to challenge giants.”
John Solomon, Chief Marketing Officer at Mozilla, described the partnership as a natural fit, saying both Wrexham and Firefox have built passionate global communities by taking a different approach and remaining true to their identities.
The agreement adds another global technology brand to Wrexham’s growing commercial portfolio as the club continues to expand its international profile under the ownership of Reynolds and McElhenney.
