Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd has acquired the exclusive television and digital broadcasting rights for Germany’s top-tier football league, the Bundesliga, in India for a five-year period starting from the 2026–27 season.
Under the agreement, Bundesliga matches will be broadcast live on Zee’s digital streaming platform ZEE5 and its television network. The coverage will include live matches, highlights, and additional football-related programming.
The deal strengthens Zee’s growing sports portfolio and expands its footprint in international football broadcasting, giving Indian audiences access to one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
Bundesliga officials said India remains a key strategic market for the league, with media partnerships also supporting grassroots football development and fan engagement in the region.
