FIFA+ moves to DAZN: football content unified on a global streaming platform

FIFA has taken a major step in its digital strategy by integrating FIFA+ into global sports streaming platform DAZN.

With this move, live matches, archive footage, and original FIFA programming will now be accessible exclusively through DAZN, marking the creation of what both organisations describe as a “Global Home of Football”.

Massive content library with 8,500 matches per year

Under the new arrangement, FIFA+ on DAZN will stream around 8,500 live football matches annually in selected territories, drawing content from FIFA’s member associations around the world.

The platform will also feature:

  • Full match replays from past men’s and women’s World Cups
  • Highlights and archival footage
  • Rare and previously unseen camera angles
  • Original FIFA documentaries and programming

Leadership comments on global expansion

Mattias Grafström said the integration represents a key milestone in making football more globally accessible and creating a unified digital ecosystem for fans and federations.

DAZN CEO Shay Segev added that the partnership will allow fans worldwide to access football content as part of a large global streaming community.

Digital push ahead of the 2026 World Cup

The move comes as part of broader efforts to modernise football broadcasting ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

By consolidating its content into a single global platform, FIFA aims to increase accessibility, expand its digital reach, and strengthen its presence in the rapidly evolving sports media landscape.
