Polymarket has secured a multi-year partnership with LaLiga, becoming the league’s exclusive prediction markets platform in the United States and Canada.
The agreement includes access to official intellectual property and premium broadcast visibility, marking another major خطوة in Polymarket’s rapid expansion across professional sports.
The platform already holds partnerships with major leagues including Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, Major League Soccer, and Ultimate Fighting Championship, strengthening its position against rival Kalshi.
Ari Borod, Polymarket’s president of sports business development and former Fanatics executive, said the LaLiga agreement came together quickly amid growing investment and interest in soccer across North America.
Despite the growth, prediction markets continue to face scrutiny. U.S. regulators and sports leagues have raised concerns about integrity risks, particularly around events that could be easily influenced, such as individual player actions or officiating decisions.
To address this, Polymarket will work closely with LaLiga to restrict certain types of markets that could compromise sporting integrity, including those related to injuries or off-field issues.
The partnership also follows the launch of a new integrity-focused platform developed with Palantir Technologies and TWG AI, aimed at monitoring and managing risks within sports prediction markets.
LaLiga said the deal aligns with its strategy to adopt innovative and disruptive approaches to fan engagement, while maintaining control over the integrity of its competitions.
