Spanish health technology company Kamleon has begun deploying its smart biometric urinal technology at Manchester City, strengthening its presence in the Premier League. The company already works with Manchester United and Arsenal FC, adding another elite club to its growing client portfolio.
Non-invasive biometric monitoring
Kamleon’s technology transforms a routine daily activity into a source of valuable performance data.
Its smart urinal system analyzes hydration levels and other physiological indicators through a completely non-invasive process, providing near real-time biometric insights into an athlete’s condition.
The data is automatically synchronized with sports management platforms through an API integration with Teamworks, allowing club doctors, nutritionists and performance staff to access immediate information without manual sample collection.
The system enables faster, more personalized athlete monitoring while streamlining medical and performance workflows within the club.
Strengthening its position in the Premier League
The Manchester City agreement marks another milestone in Kamleon’s expansion across English football.
Before joining City, the company had already implemented its technology at Arsenal, Manchester United and Ipswich Town, which adopted the solution during the redevelopment of its training complex following promotion to the Premier League.
By adding Manchester City to its client list, Kamleon further establishes itself as a technology provider for some of the world’s most advanced football organizations in sports science, innovation and performance management.
International growth plans
Founded in Barcelona in 2019, Kamleon was created to provide elite sports organizations with objective, automated and real-time physiological data to support personalized nutrition and athlete monitoring.
In addition to its Premier League expansion, the company also works with Girona FC, Real Sociedad, RC Celta de Vigo, Parma Calcio 1913 and FC Famalicão.
Kamleon plans to continue expanding across Europe’s leading football leagues while pursuing new opportunities in the Middle East and the United States.
