Marseille partners with Chiliz to launch official fan token

Olympique de Marseille has partnered with Chiliz Group to launch an official OM Fan Token, expanding the French club’s digital fan engagement strategy through a blockchain-based platform offering exclusive experiences, rewards and participation opportunities.

Under the agreement, Chiliz becomes Marseille’s official digital asset partner for Fan Tokens. The initiative is designed to give supporters new ways to interact with the club beyond matchdays, connecting digital participation with real-world experiences.

Exclusive experiences for supporters

Planned benefits for OM Fan Token holders include access to the pitch at the CEPAC Vélodrome, visits to the club’s training centre alongside former players, virtual meetings with players and participation in club-related polls.

According to the announcement, Fan Token holders in France have received almost 4,000 rewards and experiences from participating teams to date.

Chiliz Group CEO Alexandre Dreyfus said Marseille supporters would have a new way to express and experience their passion for the club, both on and off the pitch.

Olympique de Marseille managing director Alban Juster described the partnership as another step in the club’s digital development, adding that it would create new opportunities for supporters to interact with the club and its players.

Chiliz expands its football portfolio

The agreement adds another prominent French football club to Chiliz’s international network, which includes more than 60 sports teams worldwide.

Chiliz has built its sports business around blockchain infrastructure and Fan Tokens, offering clubs digital products that connect supporter participation with rewards, experiences and voting opportunities.

For Marseille, the partnership creates an additional channel for engaging supporters and extending the club experience beyond the stadium. For Chiliz, it strengthens a partnership-driven strategy aimed at expanding its fan token ecosystem across global sport.

The financial terms of the agreement and the launch date for the OM Fan Token were not disclosed in the announcement.
