Girona FC has officially entered the world of digital collectibles by partnering with Collectibol, a leading free-to-play platform focused on sports entertainment. Through this agreement, the LaLiga club will launch its own official digital card collection for the current season, effectively transitioning the traditional sticker album experience into a modern mobile environment.

The project, developed collaboratively by the club and the platform, features official content deeply rooted in Girona FC’s identity and history. Using the Collectibol app, fans can open digital packs, discover rare cards, and complete albums organized by chapters. The platform also offers a social and immersive experience, allowing supporters to share and trade their collections within the community.

Delfí Geli, President of Girona FC, emphasized the importance of this digital leap, stating that the album serves as a bridge between the club’s past and present. He noted that the initiative makes the club’s history accessible in an easy and entertaining way for fans of all ages. This sentiment was echoed by Nicolás Benhamou, CEO and co-founder of Collectibol, who remarked that the platform was designed to help clubs tell their stories with the same care as traditional collecting, but adapted for the digital age.

By joining this platform, Girona FC follows in the footsteps of other Spanish top-flight teams, such as Real Betis and Valencia CF, who have also recently integrated their official digital albums into the Collectibol ecosystem.
