Corinthians & Esportes da Sorte Renew Master Sponsorship

Corinthians has reached an agreement to renew its master sponsorship deal with betting firm Esportes da Sorte through 2029, securing a significant 45% increase in annual revenue.

Following weeks of speculation, the São Paulo-based club will continue its partnership with the bookmaker, which originally took over the main jersey spot in July 2024. The new contract, set to be signed shortly, ensures a massive jump in the club’s earnings starting this year.

Key Financial Details:

  • 2026 Payment: Corinthians is set to receive R$ 150 million in 2026.
  • Significant Growth: This figure represents a 45% increase over the R$ 103 million paid annually through 2025.
  • Total Potential: Including performance-based bonuses currently being finalized, the total annual value could reach R$ 200 million.
  • Duration: The new agreement extends the partnership for an additional four years, running until 2029.

Strategic Adjustments:

The deal may specifically secure the master sponsorship for the men’s professional football team. This could allow Corinthians to negotiate separate, high-value master sponsorships for other divisions, such as women’s football, basketball, volleyball, and futsal.

Market Context:

Despite the record-breaking nature of this increase for Corinthians, the deal remains the second-largest in Brazil. Flamengo maintains the country’s top spot with its Betano partnership, which pays a fixed R$ 268 million annually. The 2026 season continues to see major shifts in the Brazilian betting sponsorship landscape, with several other top-flight clubs recently terminating or ending their previous agreements.
