wTVision Shapes a Bold New Visual Identity for Swiss Football

When the Swiss Football League decided to reinvent its on-air presentation for the 2025/2026 season, it went beyond a simple graphics refresh. The league sought a creative partner capable of translating its complex competition format into a cohesive, fan-friendly visual identity.

That partner was wTVision, tasked with designing and delivering the official broadcast branding for both the Super League and the Challenge League — Switzerland’s top two tiers of professional football.

At the heart of the project was a clear ambition: create a unified graphics architecture that evolves alongside the league’s unique structure. From early-season matches to championship and relegation splits, and ultimately to promotion playoffs, the system had to remain consistent, adaptive, and visually engaging.

wTVision responded with a modular, future-proof broadcast identity that balances editorial requirements with brand cohesion. Every graphic element, from live data overlays to dynamic transitions, was designed to enhance storytelling and clarity for viewers, no matter the stage of the season.

“Being chosen to redefine how an entire league is experienced on screen is not just a creative opportunity — it’s a statement of trust,” said Pedro Pires, wTVision’s creative director. “We aimed to give the Swiss Football League a bold, cohesive voice on-air, grounded in the identity of its clubs and the rhythm of its competition.”

The Super League received a premium suite of graphics befitting its flagship status, while the Challenge League was given a fine-tuned variant aligned with the overarching identity yet tailored to its specific role in the competition. The design also incorporated the league’s strict regulatory and sponsorship frameworks, ensuring brand exposure rules and visual identity specifications were seamlessly integrated.

wTVision’s work extends to highly regulated scenarios such as VAR, where clarity, neutrality, and brand continuity are critical. The project reflects the company’s ability to respond to complex editorial and production needs with modular design, visual consistency, and operational efficiency.

By merging editorial vision with broadcast-ready execution, wTVision has delivered a visual identity that not only represents the Swiss Football League but also strengthens the emotional connection between fans and the game.
