The official brand identity for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 was officially launched during the halftime break of the U23 Asian Cup final in Jeddah. The reveal marks a major milestone for the tournament, which is set to blend the Kingdom’s rich heritage with a modern vision for football.
The Design: Where Tradition Meets Modernity
The logo features the iconic Asian Cup trophy at its center, surrounded by a wordmark inspired by Najdi stepped geometry. This unique architectural style—native to Saudi Arabia—incorporates patterns traditionally found in Sadu textiles and regional ornamentation. Organizers noted that the “stepped structure” symbolizes rhythm, balance, and a cultural aesthetic that is “unmistakably Saudi and proudly Asian.”
