Juventus Appoints Peter Silverstone as Chief Business Officer

TURIN – Juventus has officially named Peter Silverstone as its new Chief Business Officer, securing a high-profile commercial leader from the Premier League to spearhead its revenue growth. The move is a strategic attempt by the Bianconeri to modernize their business operations and expand their global sponsorship portfolio.

A Premier League Pedigree

Silverstone joins the Italian giants following a highly successful stint as Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle United (2022–2025). His extensive resume includes nearly seven years at Arsenal FC, where he served as Commercial Director, as well as a senior international role at the digital media platform OneFootball.

Strategic Objectives

In his new role at Juventus, Silverstone will oversee:

  • Brand Monetization: Expanding the club’s commercial reach in international markets.
  • Partnership Management: Managing relationships with global sponsors and developing new commercial assets.
  • Succession: He fills the void left by Francesco Calvo, who recently departed Turin to join Aston Villa as Managing Director of Revenue and Institutional Relations.

Financial Expertise

Beginning his career at Morgan Stanley, Silverstone brings a data-driven, analytical approach to sports marketing. His background at agencies like Pitch International and Kentaro provides him with a deep understanding of media rights and commercial consulting—skills Juventus deems essential as they navigate the evolving financial landscape of European football.
